United States, January 18, 2024 - DPK Racing | Americas is pleased to officially announce Marco Romero as its first confirmed driver for the 2024 season in the SKUSA, USPKS, and ROK Cup categories.
At just 13 years old, Marco Romero from Venezuela, has showcased his skills and progress in karting in the United States, establishing himself as a promising figure in the sport. This has made him an ideal candidate to represent the team, especially in his debut season in the Junior category.
DPK | Americas, born from the merger and collaborative efforts of DPK Racing, Team Benik, DRIVEN, and Msi Bio Performance, is eager to collaborate with Marco Romero on the tracks of the United States, seeking new challenges and experiences while leveraging the valuable experience Marco has gained with Team Benik.
One of the team's notable highlights is the use of state-of-the-art karts developed by renowned Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso. The selection of these high quality karts underscores the commitment of everyone involved to excellence and competitiveness.
DPK Racing | Americas anticipates an exciting season full of learning and growth, kicking off its activities this weekend at the Winter Tour of ROK Cup at AMR Motorplex in Homestead, Florida.
Regarding the young driver, Marco Romero has already had the opportunity to test the FA kart. In his recent debut in the Junior category last weekend during the start of the SKUSA Winter Series, Marco demonstrated solid learning in the face of this new challenge and expressed feeling very comfortable with his new kart.
